Mr. Smith has lectured and published extensively on Multilevel Marketing Law. He is former General Counsel of the National Association of Multilevel Marketing Companies and is currently An Emeritus member of the Board of Directors and Attorney for the Multilevel Marketing International Association headquartered in Irvine, CA. He is a member of the Lawyer's Council and Government Relations Committee of the Direct Selling Association in Washington, D.C. and is the author of a book 50 State Multilevel Marketing Compendium.
Mr. Smith has also served on the National Congressional Advisory Committee in Washington, D.C. He was nominated for "Best Attorneys in America" 2006. He is an industry icon and the nation's senior MLM attorney.
Mr. Smith is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and Harvard Law School and a member of both the Tennessee and American Bar Associations. His legal practice includes representation of direct selling and multi level marketing companies headquartered throughout the United States and abroad.
